What could be better than a chocolate experience to melt in the mouth? Today we drive to Bilten and visit Läderach Chocolatier, a major attraction on Lucerne tours. Immerse yourself in the culture and gain insight into the delicate craftsmanship of Swiss chocolate on a workshop tour. Create your own pleasures before moving on to the Alpine town of Einsiedeln. Here we visit the Abbey, an important rest stop on the Way of St. James, which pilgrims have been visiting for over a thousand years. We return to Lucerne for a free evening.

Switzerland is known for its military defense. Today, you have the opportunity to experience them first-hand during a guided visit to the Sonnenberg bunker, one of the highlights of the Lucerne Tours. This huge bunker, built at the height of the Cold War, housed over 20,000 people. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Lucerne on your own. Stroll along the banks of the Reuss and admire the tall, painted houses, which are located in quiet places amidst the cobbled streets of the medieval old town. You have plenty of time to buy souvenirs, from chocolates and watches to Swiss pocket knives, not missed by those on Lucerne tours.
Meal (s) – Breakfast
The creamy flavors of the Emmentaler cheese can be enjoyed today with an included excursion to the Emmentaler cheese dairy, which is another popular attraction of Lucerne tours. Farmers from the surrounding villages bring their fresh milk to the dairy, which is used to process the now-beloved mild cheese of the world. Immerse yourself in the culture and discover the mystery of the famous holes of the Emmentaler and taste some of the local products. Join this afternoon on an optional horse-drawn carriage ride to admire the stunning nature before returning to Lucerne for a farewell dinner with new friends.
